Hello team,

Sorry for the lack of posts recently. It’s been a bit of a nightmare as I broke my phone recently, and haven’t been able to blog/ insta as regularly.

So, since ‘It’s Coming Home‘ a couple of weeks ago – I’ve ran a residential for 45 sixth formers, left my job, started a new job, almost bought a house, pulled out of buying a house, booked an away day for STW, had a psychiatric test and got really really drunk.

It’s been a bit of a mad month to be honest and I won’t lie, it’s not been easy for my mental health.

I’ve had a lot of panic attacks this month, stomach ache in the past few days and a headache for the first three days of my new job. However, this weekend – I spent last night resting, relaxing and I plan to do that all weekend.

I have the slight exception of today with the England game, which let’s face it – if anyone can relax then they’re probably German, but I’m ready to practice what I preach and put myself first.

It’s so bloody rare isn’t it? Putting yourself first… especially if, like many of my friends and family, you’re quite a selfless person. Don’t get me wrong – I have many selfish moments, but I try to be selfless as much as I can.

Today, I’m probably going get drunk. I’m going to try my best not to because my MH assessor on Thursday said it will be pointless to take my tablets when I’m drinking. However, I’m human and I’m young and I’m willing to take the consequences tomorrow if it means I have a good time today.

I will be doing a post in the future about drinking because I think we all fall into this trap of messing with our meds because we’re young, sociable and sometimes just in need of a drink.

In the meantime, I’m going to enjoy today, relax when I can and relax tomorrow. I suggest you all try to do the same!
